We are delighted to invite you to an insightful conference on CO2 capture and recycling, a crucial step towards reducing industrial emissions and advancing carbon neutrality. As industries seek innovative solutions to limit their carbon footprint, cutting-edge technologies and large-scale projects are emerging to tackle this challenge. Join us to explore pioneering initiatives that are shaping the future of sustainable industries the 10th of April at 17.15.

Session 1: ACCSION Project - Decarbonizing the Cement Industry
Cement production is one of the largest industrial sources of CO2 emissions, but the ACCSION project, led by Aalborg Portland and Air Liquide, aims to change that. This initiative seeks to capture CO2 emissions from Aalborg Portland’s cement plant—equivalent to 1.4 million tons per year. Air Liquide will provide its advanced carbon capture technology to trap emissions, which will then be transported and permanently stored onshore in Denmark. Supported by €220 million in EU funding, this project represents a major step toward the large-scale decarbonization of the cement industry and contributes to Denmark and the EU’s climate objectives.
>Speakers: Søren Konstmann Lausen (Aalborg Portland) & Bertrand Baratte (Air Liquide)

Session 2: TotalEnergies’ Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Initiatives
TotalEnergies is advancing the Bifrost project with Nordsøfonden, aiming for a CO2 storage capacity exceeding 5 Mt/year by 2030. The CCS Bifrost project leverages Harald depleted gas fields and saline aquifers. With Nordsøfonden, the CCS Bifrost project repurposes the offshore Syd-Arne Nybro gas pipeline, owned by Ørsted, for CO2 transportation, and the Harald platform, owned by the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC), for CO2 injection. Ongoing appraisals of both CO2 storage licenses and development studies are assessing project capacities, infrastructure needs, including shipping and pipeline connections
>Speaker: David Nevicato, CCS Bifrost Asset Manager (TotalEnergies)

Session 3: Enosis - CO2 Recycling for Renewable Fuels
Founded in 2014, ENOSIS is a French innovative company promoting the development toward a carbon-neutral future. ENOSIS develops and operates PtX projects aiming at the production and the sale of renewable fuels (e-methane) from CO2 recycling or sells equipment recycling CO2, to EPCs. ENOSIS solutions are based on a patented biological methanation technology, environmentally friendly. ENOSIS is now commissioning its first industrial plant, integrated into a 20 GWh farmer biomethane plant. ENOSIS is financially supported by cleantech investors (Industrya, Banque des Territoires, UI Investissement, KIC InnoEnergy SE).
> Speaker: Vincent Guerré, CEO (Enosis)
